MISSION STATEMENT

Outreach, a community-based mission, extends the parish motto
“A People for Others”.
The Outreach Commission nourishes the mind, body and spirit of not only the people of St. Ignatius but the surrounding community as well. The Commission supports ministries that provide services and information to those in need of emotional, physical, or financial assistance.

Outreach Commission Long and Short Term Goals for 2023-2024
Short-Term Goals:

1. To meet with Hope Center representatives, in the next three months, to evaluate reviving our participation in their program. Our taking part in their ministry would be a service to the community of homeless in our area.

2. To organize the Walking With Moms In Need Program, including staffing, identifying needs and available resources. This will be completed in the next three months.

Long-Term Goals:

1. To build the Hope Center Ministry, within a year, to permanent staffing, leadership and procedures that will support the Hope Center on a permanent basis.

2. To establish Walking With Mom’s In Need and get approval to form the ministry in our parish, within a year.
