Bynum Family

"As young, first-time parents, we enrolled our rambunctious son at St. Ignatius around 18 months and stayed with the program until he was 5 years old, summers included. This wonderful school has been a constant in our lives since our child could talk, and he never once had a bad day. I have had the honor of getting to know his many wonderful teachers; every single one of them treated us like family in and around the parish, and our son adored them all. We have seen firsthand incredible progress in his ability to read, write, and most of all socialize, both confidently and kindly. After nearly four years of schooling, we couldn't have imagined a better place for our family, and are truly grateful for every memory made: every Christmas program, every costume parade, and every piece of art taped to our walls. "

Trahan Family

“Our family is so thankful for the experience our daughters have had at St. Ignatius Early Childhood Center. Their nurturing, faith-centered environment has guided both of our daughters’ social, academic, and spiritual development. Both of our girls started in the nursery class at around one year old with one graduating Pre-K and another still in attendance. I have peace of mind when I drop off my youngest, knowing she is safe, and loved, and will create memorable learning experiences. Each year, we have been blessed with wonderful, caring teachers and staff, whom our daughters look forward to seeing. Early childhood education plays such a critical role in children’s development and we are so happy we chose St. Ignatius Early Childhood Center to set the foundation for both our girls.”

Jessica Aydellete

We were in the midst of discerning what path to take for our son’s schooling. He wasn’t socially ready for a big kindergarten but was too academically inclined to go back to preschool. When I heard St. Ignatius had a small kindergarten class, I knew it was the answer to our prayers. The teachers and staff at SILCC Early Childhood Center worked closely with us to make sure Carter had all of the tools he needed to succeed. They were willing to talk with our son’s counselor and even employed the advice of the parish counseling office to make sure everyone was on the same page regarding interventions needed to help him be successful. This little boy thrived in such a loving and positive environment. He looked forward to going to school every day and grew in every way: socially, spiritually, and academically. He is now a thriving 1st grader thanks to SILCC ECC who, with some simple TLC, changed the course of his academic life with their acceptance of him. We are forever grateful to this program for giving our son the fresh start that he needed after hard times at other preschools. Thank you for meeting him where he was and allowing him to grow!
