9th Annual Outreach Garage Sale 2027
in Christus Center
Donations Accepted:
Saturday, Sunday January 23-24, 2027 9am-5pm
Early Bird Pre-sale ($25 admission per person):
Wed, Jan. 27, 2027 11am-5 pm (tickets go on sale at 10am for 11am entry)
Free admission:
Thursday, Jan. 28, 2027 9 AM - 5 PM
Friday, Jan. 29, 2027 9 AM - 5 PM
Saturday, Jan. 30, 2027 9 AM - 3 PM (Return for the Saturday Specials!)
We welcome donations of :
- Typical garage sale items (exceptions are below)
- Bicycles in good condition
- Books
- Special treasures such as designer purses and shoes, vintage/antiques, crystal, expensive jewerly, clocks, and vintage decor, new-in-box goods, and other luxury items. (We can accept these all year - email us at GarageSale@silcc.org)
We can accept typical garage sale types of items EXCEPT:
- Broken, stained, or damaged items (we must pay to empty the dumpster!)
- Second-hand baby cribs and car seats
- Large furniture (over 50 lbs.) *
- Mattresses and bed sets *
- Second-hand printers
- Curtain rods
* We can help you sell furniture and bed sets without transporting them, via Facebook Marketplace! Email GarageSale@silcc.org for more information.
We need your jewelry NOW. Please label the container, bring it to the drop-off closet in the office, then email GarageSale@silcc.org to let us know it's there.

Refugee Thanksgiving
In collaboration with Catholic Charities Refugee Resettlement Program, St. Ignatius Outreach Commission coordinates a Thanksgiving event for families who have come from other countries under dire conditions to resettle here in Houston. A wonderful meal is prepared by parishioners, as well as games, music, and the opportunity to share each other's culture and faith!

Easter Help for the Homeless at Magnificat Houses
Every year, St. Ignatius parishioners provide an Easter gift bags for the homeless community in the Houston area through Magnificat Houses Inc. Look for the opportunity to collaborate by donating food items, snacks, toiletries, socks, etc., and join us in this amazing project!
This year we are preparing to donate 500 Care Packages with individual size toiletries (toothbrush/toothpaste, soap, wipes, deodorant, shampoo, lotion, etc.) and snacks (healthy and individually wrapped).
We are also collecting large cans of vegetables and fruits to bring to the HOPE Houston Center for their kitchen!
***Drop off donations to the Parish Office any day during business hours.
