Ignatian Morning of Prayer

We are excited to welcome Fr. Randy Gibbens, SJ as the presenter for our next Ignatian Morning of Prayer. The theme for the morning is Ignatian Prayer and Discernment. Please join us on Saturday, February 14 from 10:30am-12:30pm in McGivney Hall for spiritual nourishment and for coffee and donuts!
Fr. Gibbens is a native of New Orleans, entered the Jesuits in 2004 and was ordained to the priesthood in June 2015. For the past six years he has served at Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory School of Houston in various capacities - as a science teacher, Director of Student Life, school chaplain, and currently, as school President.
Throughout his 20 years as a Jesuit, Fr. Gibbens has worked in a variety of ministries, from teaching biology and theology at Jesuit High in Tampa, to serving as an associate pastor at Paroquia Santiago in Yoro, Honduras, to serving as Vocation Promoter for the Jesuits of the Central and Southern Province (UCS).
Fr. Gibbens earned a BS in Agronomy from Texas A&M University in 1999, an MA in Philosophy from St. Louis University in 2008, and an MDiv from the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley in 2015.
