Strengthening Missionary Disciples- Increased Offertory
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As members of St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, we have been richly blessed to walk together as missionary disciples of Jesus Christ. Week after week, we gather around the altar of the Lord where He nourishes us with His Word and His very Body and Blood. Here we encounter Christ, deepen our relationship with Him, and allow Him to transform us so that we may go forth and proclaim the Gospel by the way we live our lives.
Our parish is much more than a place where we attend Mass. It is where disciples are formed, families are strengthened, children are taught the faith, young people discover their vocation, the poor are served, and those searching for hope encounter the love and mercy of Jesus Christ. Rooted in the spirituality of St. Ignatius of Loyola, we continually ask, “Lord, how are You calling me to serve?” Together we strive to become “a people for others,” placing our gifts at the service of God and our neighbor.
Everything we accomplish as a parish is possible because of God’s grace and the generous stewardship of our parish family. Every celebration of the Eucharist, every child who learns the faith, every family accompanied through life’s joys and sorrows, every ministry that serves our community, and every outreach to those in need is made possible through the faithful generosity of parishioners who recognize that all we have is a gift from God.
This year we begin a renewed stewardship initiative under the theme Strengthening Missionary Disciples for Tomorrow. I invite you to prayerfully review the enclosed materials and discern how God is calling you and your family to participate more fully in the mission of St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish. Our goal is to strengthen our Sunday offertory so that we may continue forming missionary disciples today while preparing our parish to serve future generations with the same faith, hope, and generosity that have been entrusted to us.
On Commitment Weekend, August 29-30, 2026, every household will be invited to make a prayerful financial commitment to support the mission and ministries of our parish. Your participation is not simply a gift to the parish—it is an investment in the future of the Gospel. Together we ensure that St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish remains a place where lives are transformed, vocations are nurtured, families are strengthened, and Christ is proclaimed for generations to come.
Thank you for your faithful witness, your generous hearts, and your continued commitment to the mission of our parish. Please know of my gratitude and prayers for you and your family.
In Him who first loved us,
Very Reverend Norbert J. Maduzia, Jr., E.V., D.Min.
