GET HELP - RECIBA AYUDA

Financial Assistance

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Our Parish community is committed to helping families, and individuals, meet their basic needs during unforeseen situations of financial distress. In addition to our on-site financial assistance program for rent and utilities, we provide resources and referrals through Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM), Catholic Charities, and other community agencies. We offer parishioners and local community members information to access a wide range of services including assistance with crisis pregnancy, citizenship, job search, housing, domestic violence, medical treatment, children with special needs, and counseling among others.

Charity requires us to consider each situation on a case-by-case basis. All interviews are conducted in-person in the Outreach Office. In addition to our registered parishioners, our financial assistance program includes (as of January 2023) families with young children 0-5 years old, foster or adoptive families, families in the community referred by other social service agencies (especially if this agency already offered a pledge), and families referred by our parishioners or parish ministries and programs.

If you are facing financial hardship and some assistance can help you move forward with your rent/mortgage or utility payment, please call our office to speak with one of our Intake Coordinators who will schedule an appointment after being pre-qualified. We require financial emergencies to be documented with proof of income and proof of emergency expenses or unforeseen financial hardship.  When you make your appointment,  you will be instructed on what documents to submit. All appointments are confidential.

Please call the Financial Assistance Line at 281-370-3401 ext. 5000
